Hi, I'm Sarah - a 28 year-old Catholic optimist with passion for life, learning, and laughter. This blog is meant to be a creative outlet for me to share some musings and wanderings of my daily life ranging anywhere from documenting my travel experiences and adventures living in the New England area, to sharing delicious recipes, inspirations of faith, daily outfits, and other 'how-to's.
Other than a tumblr and a few brief attempts to keep my family in the loop while I lived in London and Alaska, I'm pretty new to this whole 'blogging' thing. I am super excited to see how SimplySarah grows and to begin sharing myself in a new, fun and creative way.
I love questions and making new friends, so don't hesitate to leave a comment or send a message my way!
Peace,
Sarah

I was just popping by to say what a beautiful post you had on Blessed is She today. I think the idea of our children being idols opens up the passage of Isaac so much. Thank you for sharing. I would have emailed directly, but this is as direct as I can figure out.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Laura! I am so grateful for your kind words and am so glad that my reflection was meaningful to you <3

I really enjoyed your post about forgiveness on Blessed is She today. I experienced a deep hurt in recent years which I’m still trying to heal from. I agree that trying to see the other people as God sees them (to understand their humanness) is huge. Thank you for reminding me that forgiveness is an active, daily process. With that perspective and God’s loving help, I believe that the hurt will subside, and we will slowly but surely experience joy again.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing that, Katie. It's so hard to choose to forgive sometimes. Praying for you, friend!

Ps how does one subscribe to your blog? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI think the easiest way is to follow via Bloglovin'. If you click the heart under my profile photo on the right it should take you there :)

Hi Sarah! I’ve read your bio on your BIS posts, and I’ve always thought it’s so cool that you have a passion for the Faith and social justice and that you work as a Newman Center campus minister. I’m graduating with a social work degree this year and have worked in my university’s campus ministry office for several years. I’ve been considering campus ministry as a career path, and I’d love to hear more about your experience. Is there a way that we can get in touch?
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! My blog email is simplysarahblogger@gmail.com . That would be the easiest way to chat! Best of luck with your discernment! Peace, Sarah
